Ski and Snowboard Goggles
WHAT ARE POLARIZED SKI GOGGLES?
Snow and ice are great reflectors of sunlight, which can make it hard to see when you're shredding. Polarized lenses act to subdue these effects by reducing glare and providing clearer vision and enhancing contrast on the slopes. This makes polarized lenses ideal for skiing or snowboarding, where maintaining sharp, clear vision is critical for to make sure you don't become a yard sale on the mountain.
At Spy Optic, all of our Happy Boost lenses are polarized, offering the same level of glare reduction while enhancing color and contrast. Whether you've lucked in to a blue bird day in the backcountry or lapping the park on sunny afternoon our Happy Boost lenses will help you see with precision and comfort.
WHAT ARE OTG SKI GOGGLES?
One of the great mysteries in the world is what do people with glasses do when they have to wear goggles?
We're gonna let you in on the not so secret, secret. For people that wear glasses they need to be looking for OTG goggles, which is an acronym for "Over The Glasses". In short the goggles are designed to comfortably fit over prescription eyewear, making them an excellent choice for who need corrective lenses but don't want to compromise on vision clarity or comfort when wearing goggles. These goggles typically feature a larger frame and specialized foam cutouts to accommodate glasses underneath without causing discomfort or pressure.
At Spy Optic, we understand the importance of performance and convenience, which is why all of our snow goggles, with the exception of the Raider, are OTG compatible. We highly recommend you try our range of goggles with your prescription glasses, it'll change your day. No more blindly flying off a cliff or encountering treacherous mogul fields, just straight ripping.
