Raised in Seattle, he honed his craft on Washington’s parks and powdery steeps, quickly earning a reputation as a standout rider. By the mid-2010s, Austen had cemented himself as a backcountry legend, known for his smooth spins, playful turns, and unmistakable energy.

Whether snowboarding, skating, surfing, or strumming a guitar, Austen brings creativity and flair to everything he touches. Last winter, he showcased his skills at the Jackson Hole stop of the Natural Selection Tour, proving his prowess in competition.
