Hometown: Big Bear, California

Growing up in Big Bear, California, “the Mecca of park snowboarding,” Zak had a front-row seat on the chairlift to watch the world’s best pros battle it out. Not content to just watch, Zak carved his own path, landing his first sponsorship at the age of nine. Zak is now one of the two longest-standing Monster snowboarders, with the technical skills and street cred to back it up. A member of the elite Burton Pro Team, Zak is currently putting his aggressive and progressive approach to work in the backcountry and across a wide range of video projects.
